Scene 2.2 Honesty (Chip & Darla)

After a fight over gym equipment, Darla took Chip (Busboy) to task about his behaviour during the last mission.

Busboy rightly pointed out that Darla's behaviour had only made things worse, which was unfortunate because she was always taking charge.

Darla made some things explode by accident in the gym at this

She KNEW that thank you which is why she's loathe to admit it but Chip saved the day and got them the best ending there.

Chip seemed to have mixed feelings about this.

What's his problem. Why do you lie for fun when you're clearly competent.

Well, a lot of it is that other people aren't honest. Why should he be honest when Darla isn't honest with him? Everyone's hiding shit, including Mr. Knight.

Darla says she chooses to trust Mr. Knight. On faith; because she can see he's on the level emotionally, and because he admits outright that he's hiding shit from them.

Chip is still very skeptical. But he doesn't want to be a leader despite being competent, so he goads Darla to do it instead.
