Mr. Knight

Carter Knight (Formerly Shadow Knight)

An eccentric billionaire that owns half the city, a former legacy superhero, and the founder of the program that the ex-villainous teens now find themselves in. He has invited them to live in his mansion and undergo training to become heroes.

For many years, he and his brother Parker Knight secretly shared the mantle of Shadow Knight. They were trained to take over the mantle from his father, who had taken over the mantle from his father before him, and thus has a grim and practical outlook on heroing. He was injured severely during an unknown event in the line of duty, sustaining career-ending permanent nerve damage. He is now disabled with chronic pain and needs a wheelchair to get around without severe pain flareups. Despite this, Mr. Knight has retained his sense of humour and his moral convictions, the latter of which contributed to the formation of the program.

Among the PCs, Mr. Knight is generally distrusted. He has admitted to not telling them everything. Despite this, he has developed a mentoral-to-paternal bond with Conjuress.

He contributed considerable funds and presumably had a hand in building CL30, who acts as his maid, nurse, and retainer. He is in a situationship of sorts with Spellweaver, who also acts as his therapist. Reportedly, he has a sister that disappeared many years ago. Darla has also been told in confidence that his mother is actually the supervillainess Scarlet Knight.

Mr. Knight is arachnophobic.
